A Message from Your Virtual Assistant, Dana Wallert

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to check out our virtual office. As a businessperson, I understand the difficulty in deciding to try a new solution for the first time. That is why we strive to give you as much information about DW Office Solutions and the virtual office solutions we offer up front.

I also feel that in making the decision to try a new service, you must feel confident in the people with whom you’re doing business.

So, on that note, let me tell you a bit about my background. I have worked in sales and marketing for over 10 years. During that time, I’ve worked in retail, wholesale and non-profit marketing roles. Also, in each position I took on some level of responsibility for office administration. I am very well versed in MS Office (MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher), most internet search engines, ACT, Sales Logix, Raiser’s Edge and many more programs and applications.

Through all of my past experiences, I have developed a good understanding of the development and implementation of marketing plans, non profit fundraising and many of the basic human resources functions.

In the past year, I have decided to put all of my knowledge to work for me. I’ve always enjoyed certain aspects of my past positions, and in starting DW Office Solutions I saw the opportunity to combine all of those aspects that I enjoyed into one “job.” At the same time, I’ve had the chance to learn all about starting a small business and even more about marketing strategies with a strong emphasis on web marketing this time.

Also, I know that some people feel better about working with others online if they can see them in a more human light, others don’t appreciate this as much, but below I’m choosing to include a few more personal notes about myself. If you are offended by those in business who feel the need to show these type of insights on their business’ website, I warn you…look away now!

Here’s a little bit more about me as a person. I live in Lawrence, KS. Yes that’s right, the home of the University of Kansas and the Jayhawks! I am a huge KU basketball fan. I’m also a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, even though lately they don’t make it that easy! Also, please if you are reading this part and thinking its interesting, weird, funny or “enter your own adjective here” please do not think that everyone from Kansas lives revolve around the Wizard of Oz. So, there is my plea, if you ever meet someone from Kansas, please do not take the easy way out and ask them where Toto is!
